Oviedo, July 24, 2024.- GAM , a Spanish multinational listed company (BME: GAM) that offers comprehensive solutions and services for the industry, collaborated with the Bilbao BBK Live festival, held from July 11 to 13, by generating and distributing the event’s energy.
In its firm commitment to sustainability, the company introduced a series of technologies and solutions that mark a significant advancement in reducing consumption and emissions, thereby consolidating its purpose of continuous improvement in environmental matters. GAM helped make the Bilbao BBK Live 2024 a 100% renewable event for the first time in its history.
In this edition, GAM implemented STAGE V generators, equipment that meets the most demanding standards for emission reduction, ensuring minimal impact on air quality. Additionally, it integrated 130 solar panels and two wind turbines to generate clean and sustainable energy throughout the event; energy whose use was maximized thanks to storage systems that allowed for optimal resource utilization. With a range of innovations, the Bilbao BBK Live 2024 stood out not only for its musical and cultural offerings but also for its commitment to the environment, achieving a reduction of CO 2 emissions generated by the event by more than half in all aspects. This further reinforces GAM's role as a provider of sustainable energy solutions that contribute to reducing the environmental impact of the event.
