We were born in Asturias in 2003 and, since then, we have acquired several local machinery rental companies until 2008. In parallel, in 2006, we became the only company in the sector listed on the Spanish stock market. That same year, we started our internationalization project in Romania and Bulgaria, reaching to expand to Latin America, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and the Dominican Republic between 2008 and 2023. In recent years, we have focused our efforts on the Iberian Peninsula, Morocco and Latin America, expanding and diversifying our lines of business.

The company is founded in Asturias, integrating three large Spanish companies: Alquioviedo, Aldaiturriaga and T. Cabrera.

Launch of the e-commerce portal for the sale of machinery and spare parts, conducting the first online machinery auctions.
New drone engineering service for industrial projects in Spain under the Aeron by GAM brand.
Exclusive importer of Hyster in Spain.
2018
Consolidation of the rental business model specialising in lifting, handling, energy and industrial and complementary services such as maintenance, training and sales.
Increased activity in specialised drone, modular, machinery distribution and event production businesses.
2019
New mobile robotics business line.
Distributor for the main brands in the sector: Hyster, Magni, JLG, Oil&Steel, Mobilev, Bravi, Logitrans and Valla.
Promotion of the company's digital and sustainable transformation.
2020
A year marked by the pandemic that significantly affected the entire environment. GAM works to maintain and improve its service so that customers can continue to operate: it offers disinfection services and continues to serve essential activities, etc.
2021
GAM is committed to digitisation through GAM Digital, a project to become a data-driven company.
The company continues advancing towards sustainability, creating "Embracing Sustainability," a project that offers an overview of GAM's initiatives in this area.
2022
GAM continues in its commitment to sustainability by installing photovoltaic panels in its branches and creates the "GAM Forest" by planting more than 500 trees in Candamo (Asturias), reforesting an area affected by the 2017 fires.
Now
GAM is working to become the best ally for global industry services, adding value and satisfying any need that customers may have, generating a positive impact on the environment and in the communities in which it operates.
