- The Spanish multinational will be responsible for distributing Ormig SpA's electric cranes in Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Chile, and Morocco.
- The high-capacity electric cranes provided by the Italian company Ormig are added to GAM's service portfolio, in line with its commitment to sustainability.
In line with its objective of offering customers top-quality brands that enable them to meet increasingly demanding needs, GAM has decided to bet on the renowned brand of electric cranes to expand its service portfolio and strengthen its presence in the international market.
According to the collaboration agreement, the Spanish multinational will be responsible for distributing the electric equipment managed by Ormig SpA in Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Chile, and Morocco. This alliance will provide greater positioning for both companies in strategic sectors that require high-capacity electric equipment; thus responding to a demand that continues to rise in the highly dynamic industrial market.
In this regard, GAM's service portfolio now includes 100% electric cranes provided by the Italian company Ormig. These machines have a load capacity ranging from 15 to 100 tons and have various applications such as general heavy load handling, machinery maintenance, equipment movement, or operations in the manufacturing process, among others; in various sectors of the industry, such as aerospace and construction.
“We have a firm commitment to sustainability. At GAM, we are making efforts to offer quality services and products that meet our customers' needs, generating a positive, real impact on our environment. Our agreement with Ormig is a clear example of this”, says Luis Turiel, Director of Distribution and Sales at GAM Spain. “For years, we have been working on renewing our machinery fleet, and currently, more than 75% of our fleet is zero-emission. This also translates into improved efficiency, reduced emissions, and lower fuel consumption”, he adds. “The agreement with GAM means collaborating with a company that has ambition and an active presence in very interesting countries and markets for us. GAM has the same enthusiasm as ORMIG and, above all, that ambition for growth in the electric fleet, as demonstrated by its interest in renewing its zero-emission fleet. Additionally, it allows us to support customers in the after-sales phase throughout the life of the equipment, which is particularly long for the type of machinery we manufacture”, explains Gian Paolo Aschero, Export Manager of Ormig.
