GAM adds drones to its commercial offering with the integration of Vuelox

Aeron by GAM will be the name of this new business area.

The combined expertise of both Asturian companies will enable the provision of a comprehensive service, which includes both purchase and rental, as well as training.

GAM is launching a new business area. Drones will be part of the multinational Asturian company's service portfolio thanks to the imminent acquisition of Vuelox, based in Llanera and specializing in unmanned aerial solutions for industry. Founded by Jorge Arias and Marcelino Artime, Vuelox will be integrated into the energy business of GAM, led by José Antonio Aguado, and will be renamed Aeron by GAM.

Vuelox, with experience dating back to 2014, was established with the goal of providing its clients with comprehensive solutions that cover planning, flying, and data capture and concluding with data processing and analysis to convert them into useful information for decision-making. Since its inception, the company has operated in various sectors including energy, environmental, topography, infrastructure, mining, agriculture, and livestock, among others.

The long history of GAM in the machinery world combined with Vuelox’s solid specialization in drones will allow Aeron by GAM to offer a comprehensive service in the sector, including, among other things, equipment purchase and rental, as well as distribution and specialized technical training tailored to the sector or activity requiring it.

With this agreement, which will be finalized in the coming days, the new Aeron by GAM will strengthen its national presence, increase the number of material and human resources at its disposal, expand its fleet and software solutions, and gain direct access to key clients across different sectors. “Our integration into GAM is a future-oriented move that will allow for greater and faster development of our commercial activity through the synergies with a leading company in the machinery sector.”
