This agreement will enable the delivery company CTT Express and its parent company to enhance their operations and strengthen their facilities across the Iberian territory.
The Iberian Group CTT has just awarded GAM Solutions, a company specializing in solutions and services for the industry related to machinery, the procurement of over 200 machines, including forklifts, pallet trucks, and handling equipment. The new Iberian-scale collaboration agreement, valued at 4 million euros, will last for a total of five years and will involve both CTT's facilities and processes in Portugal and its subsidiary CTT Express in Spain.
As part of this agreement, GAM will also provide familiarization training with the machinery for employees of the urgent delivery company, as well as an expanded proposal in this area for 2022, bringing all the expertise of the Asturian company in the training field.
Thanks to the new collaboration agreement, the Iberian Group CTT and its Spanish urgent parcel subsidiary will have the necessary resources to enhance their operations and strengthen their facilities, consolidating their position as a reference for the urgent transport sector at the Iberian level.
In the words of Pedro Luis Fernández, President of GAM, “The urgent delivery sector is key at the moment, so it is a source of pride for us that clients of the caliber of CTT Express trust in our expertise. We are very excited to begin a long-term alliance with a leading company in this sector in the Iberian market.”
CTT Express states that this new agreement is part of the strong investment aimed at improving the delivery process, supported by new facilities, warehouse mechanization, and a fully equipped network. All of this allows the firm to have a consolidated network to provide the highest quality standards in the sector, benefiting its customers, both small and large, in the e-commerce sector.
“Having a supplier like GAM helps us strengthen our leadership position in the sector by providing the best equipment and employees. This partnership is an opportunity to continue growing and consolidate our position in Portugal and Spain, offering all customers a reference service” concludes Manuel Molins, General Manager of CTT Express.
