Oviedo, 11 March 2024 – Spanish multinational GAM has appointed Diego García Pastor as its new Managing Director for Spain. With a professional career spanning more than 25 years, García Pastor has led teams in large multinationals such as ThyssenKrupp and OTIS, both nationally and internationally, and since 2023 he has held the position of Director of Corporate Business Development at GAM.
Diego García Pastor assumes the position of General Manager of GAM in Spain at a crucial time for the company, marked by the imminent inauguration of Reviver, the largest machinery remanufacturing plant in Europe, and with the commitment to lead GAM towards an even more promising future, consolidating its position as a benchmark in the sector and guaranteeing excellence.
In recent years, GAM has evolved from being a machinery rental company to become a leading provider of global services linked to the industry. This strategic change, together with the development of the ambitious Reviver project, has generated some organisational changes that aim to provide a more agile, efficient and value-added response to the customer, significantly boosting cross-selling of the different business lines. These improvements will be completed by 2024 and will optimise the company’s services to increase efficiency and operability.
